I've stayed here twice.
Once in 2017 for my son's wedding.
The second time this weekend.
The hotel is very nice.
The staff is great.
The showers are great with two shower heads!
There is a patio out back and there was nice music on the mini stage.
My boyfriend is native american and we were pleased that they honored him with a discount.
Comfortable night for our group to spend the night.
My Mini Cooper club chose the hotel to where we would end our days journey.
We had a comfortable room and had our dinner in the deli.

Me and my friends play White Horse Golf course on back to back days each year and usually stay at the Clearwater - they were over booked so we tried the Point- here are my thoughts on areas that most care about: Location - B close to a lot of things 10minute drive from the course.
Hotel Amenities- A+ new, comfy awesome!
Food - C not good!
Please don't get the buffet!
They need to up their game in this area!
Staff - A+++ I would go back there just for the customer service, everyone that we met that worked there was awesome, The dealers especially a woman named Tiffany was insanely awesome to us.
Casino - B- ok so if you like table games this is not the place for you but if you like slots you are gonna love this place like wow tons of slots and video poker!
Entertainment - A++++ man they got this Santana cover band that should be playing in Vegas the guy even had a PRS like Carlos!
Overall solid B - we will be back next year but please raise the bar on the food gotta get food that matches your beautiful hotel!

Hotel Management, We stayed at the hotel last night for the 2018-2019 New Year's party, which included a hotel stay, dinner, brunch and a party in the special occasion venue tent thing.
We were very excited to stay here again, as we have a few other times.
We also come to the casino to play weekly.
However, the night was just awful.
The check-in went smoothly as usual, with the staff being really kind, and quickly got us into our room 229.
We then got all dressed up and click the following article down to the casino to blow through some cash as usual while we waited for the doors to open for the ball.
My wife wanted to go back up to the room to rest a bit, as there was still some time before the party started.
As she went in to the room to have a minute by herself and fix her hair and make-up, she began to plug in her phone charger.
There was an instant shock to her hand which she just had massive reconstructive nerve surgery on and sparks shot out of the receptacle.
At this time, all the power went out in the room.
She then proceeded to call the front desk to inform them of the situation.
A few minutes later, a member of maintenance arrived at the room.
He looked around at all the outlets, noticing that only the bathroom was functioning.
He then left as my wife sat there in the dark for some time.
The technician arrived again with a manager type.

They asked her to move to another room, and another worker would be up with new keys shortly.
She sat in the dark room again waiting for the keys for the alternate room.
Finally, after it was all sorted out, we waited in line for the doors to open with tickets in hand.

I know that the demographics of who attends is really just a crap shoot, but you shouldn't market it as a young, lively event.
We spend a lot of money there monthly, and is our place to go when we can get a sitter.
This was just a huge disappointment for my birthday, yes, my birthday is on 12-31-1975, and New Year's Eve celebration.
Just a huge shout out to the staff and personnel of this establishment.
Long story short, my daughter wanted to go to the Casino for her 18th birthday and wanted to come here because of the fabulous seafood buffet.
Upon initially making reservations we were told that one could be 18 and gamble here.
We later were informed that is not the case you have to be 21.
Knowing you can be 18 at the other Casino in town, we tried changing locations but it was to late.
The staff at The Point made it possible by offering to shuttle our party to the other Casino and then pick us back up.

When we got there, we found out their menu recently changed.

The cashier there was really snotty and rude.
After looking at the menu hanging on the wall, I ordered a slice of cheese pizza and my husband ordered pepperoni.

When my husband started eating, we realized that I should have just ordered a slice of pepperoni because his only had one pepperoni on it!
It was basically a room temperature slice of cheese pizza with one lonely pepperoni on top.

It's just not my style, but since I live in the area, I had to come check it out.
And I ended up falling in love with the venue.
Small, quaint, friendly atmosphere.
It's all the things I love about being in a more small town atmosphere but with a great deal more to offer than your average hotel accommodations.
Once you get into the groove you'll be coming back for more.
Even if your not a gambler there's events and a very cool gift shop.
All around I'm pretty impressed!

The girls and I had a good trip to the The Point.

They told us to go and speak with the Players Club people, so we did.
This got us nowhere and I was not having a warm fussy feeling about this visit.
After getting settled in our room, we went into the casino to play some slots.
We started off in the white ticket area.
The next morning we got up and went to the buffet for breakfast.
We then decided to stop in the red ticket section to play some slots.

Much to my surprise, the TVs were all on and stayed on as the band took the stage.
I found Bill, who is supposedly the manager, and politely asked if they could be turned off while the band played.
He immediately was in adversarial and aggressive mode.
Perhaps he's more accustomed to a younger rowdier group.
He wouldn't turn off the bloody TVs.
It would be "too dark" and "people want to watch sports".
Give me a break.
It's supposed to be dark and there's plenty of lighting in there, otherwise they wouldn't pass code.
I suppose Judge Read article is a sport of a sort.
But while the band is playing?!
Then he wants to argue with a customer about it.
I turned and walked away not wanting to engage and spoil an otherwise enjoyable evening.

There was an instant shock to her hand which she just had massive reconstructive nerve surgery on and sparks shot out of the receptacle.
At this time, all the power went out in the room.
She then proceeded to call the front desk to inform them of the situation.

He looked around at all the outlets, noticing that only the bathroom was functioning.
He then left as my wife sat there in the dark for some time.
The technician arrived again with a manager type.
They did the same thing as before.
They asked her to move to another room, and another worker would be up with new keys shortly.
She sat in the dark room again waiting for the keys for the alternate room.
Finally, after it was all sorted out, we waited in line for the doors to open with tickets in hand.
Nobody told us that we needed to trade in the tickets in for wrist bands prior to standing in line.
So, once at the front of the line, we were informed that we had to go to the little desk there, and get the wrist bands, then back to the end of the line.
We were in the first 20-ish position and happy to get to the buffet first.
BUT, that was all screwed up too.
There was a couple behind us that had the same thing happen, but that guy made a huge scene.
To top it off.
The band was like any bar band that you can see in the Boom Room, or any bar for free.
The food was just an abbreviated version of the regular buffet.
It would have saved us a ton a money to just get a regular room, and purchase dinner from one of the restaurants in the casino.
We were the youngest couple in there by 20 years.
I know that the demographics of who attends is really just a crap shoot, but you shouldn't market it as a young, lively event.
We spend a lot of money there monthly, and is our place to go when we can get a sitter.
This was just a huge disappointment for my birthday, yes, my birthday is on 12-31-1975, and New Year's Eve celebration.

Long story short, my daughter wanted to go to the Casino for her 18th birthday and wanted to come here because of the fabulous seafood buffet.
Upon initially making reservations we were told that one could be 18 and gamble here.
We later were informed that is not the case you have to be 21.
Knowing you can be 18 at the other Casino in town, we tried changing locations but it was to late.
The staff at The Point made it possible by offering to shuttle our party to the other Casino and then pick us back up.
This is an unprecedented move, even the driver was amazed.
We had a wonderful time and the Players Club suite is some wonderful accommodations.
Thank you to the peeps of The Point Casino, my daughters birthday was a smashing good time!

The Bands are beyond Cheesy.
Nice sandy floor for concerts.
Went to the wine tasting event that stated you get 5 tastings with appetizers.
There was only fruit and blue cheese crumbles, no bread or crackers.
Hotel staff was rude.
Asked for late checkout, which was 12:00, on a Sunday.
They started calling my phone at 11:00 to be out and changed the key out!
Then embarrassed both myself and my Boyfriend at the front desk.
Will not be back!

Regarding the appetizers during the event, we did also feature chicken satay and assorted Crostini's.
And sure that deal wont last long.

I ate the entire plate before my husband had a chance to meet me at the bar.
Nice staff Doesn't smell like smoke like most older casinos.

They don't rinse the shampoo out very well.
The staff wears SO MUCH perfume.
Our bartender reapplied her perfume at least 2 times while we were at the bar.

We planned on getting drinks and appetizers at the Center Bar before the Queen Nation concert to celebrate our 14th anniversary.
When we got there, we found out their menu recently changed.
They no longer have our favorite cheese curds or anything appealing at all all sounds very greasy.
We didn't have time to go in a restaurant and sit down, so we decided to try the pizza window.
The cashier there was really snotty and rude.
After looking at the menu hanging on the wall, I ordered a slice of cheese pizza and my husband ordered pepperoni.
The cashier replied, with an annoyed tone in her voice, "We don't usually have cheese pizza, you can't order that.

The hotel was lovely, room was very clean with modern finishes and touches.
Everyone I encountered was friendly.
Sadly we didn't get to venture out to the patio area to listen to the live band, but did see another live band in the Boom Room.
The casino was a bit smoky, and would benefit from those floor vents that filter the air.
I did get lucky on their machines and didn't lose money and went home with some winnings.
Nothing big or crazy but enough to make me happy.
The whole place isn't as big as other area casinos, but that's what made it fun as well.
The girls and I could venture out and try our luck and be able to find each other if needed.
The bar was also good, nice strong drinks except for my girlfriends reporting that one of the bartenders had to look up on how make a Hurricane.
A minor issue but the next bartender knew what she was doing and made it perfectly for them.
Also there was an attendant on the floor that came by to check on us to see if we needed anything, we wanted to order cocktails he said he would have someone come over shortly, shortly became 30 minutes without someone coming over, so we walked over to the bar to order.

However, I feel our community needs to be represented by those with a a modicum of civility.
While enjoying an evening of live music at The Point Casino, we ventured into the Boom Boom Room as Storm Riders, a Doors cover band, were performing Friday night after the CCR cover band concert.
Much to my surprise, the TVs were all on and stayed on as the band took the stage.
I found Bill, who is supposedly the manager, and politely asked if they could be turned off while the band played.
He immediately was in adversarial and aggressive mode.
Perhaps he's more accustomed to a younger rowdier group.
He wouldn't turn off the bloody TVs.
It would be "too dark" and "people want to watch sports".
Give me a break.
It's supposed to be dark and there's plenty of lighting in there, otherwise they wouldn't pass code.
I suppose Judge Judy is a sport of a sort.
But while the band is playing?!
Then he wants to argue with a customer about it.
I turned and walked away not wanting to engage and spoil an otherwise enjoyable evening.
Now, don't get me wrong, the rest of the staff I encountered were kind and professional.
Many I've known for sometime outside of the casino.
He, however, has a total lack of customer service skills.
Apparently, his coworkers, that I know, say the same thing.

Once in 2017 for my son's wedding.
The second time this weekend.
The hotel is very nice.
The staff is great.
The showers are great with two shower heads!

Casino - B- ok so if you like table games this is not the place for you but if you like slots you are gonna love this place like wow tons of slots and video poker!

Hotel Management, We stayed at the hotel last night for the 2018-2019 New Year's party, check this out included a hotel stay, dinner, brunch and a party in the special occasion venue tent thing.
We were very excited to stay here again, as we have a few other times.
We also come to the casino to play weekly.
However, the night was just awful.
The check-in went smoothly as usual, with the staff being really kind, and quickly got us into our room 229.
We then got all dressed up and went down to the casino to blow through some cash as usual while we waited for the doors to open for the ball.

As she went in to the room to have a minute by herself and fix her hair and make-up, she began to plug in her phone charger.

The food was just an abbreviated version of the regular buffet.
It would have saved us a ton a money to just get a regular room, and purchase dinner from one of the restaurants in the casino.

I know that the demographics of who attends is really just a crap shoot, but you shouldn't market it as a young, lively event.
We spend a lot of money there monthly, and is our place to go when we can get a sitter.
This was just a huge disappointment for my birthday, yes, my birthday is on 12-31-1975, and New Year's Eve celebration.

Upon initially making reservations we were told that one could be 18 and gamble here.
We later were informed that is not the case you have to be 21.
Knowing you can be 18 at the other Casino in town, we tried changing locations but it was to late.
The staff at The Point made it possible by offering to shuttle our party to the other Casino and then pick us back up.
This is an unprecedented move, even the driver was amazed.
We had a wonderful time and the Players Club suite is some wonderful accommodations.

It's supposed to be dark and there's plenty of lighting in there, otherwise they wouldn't pass code.

We were going to be in their area for thanksgiving, so we decided to spend a night at the casino.
We arrived at the casino about 4 pm on the 22nd of N0v 2018.
They told us to go and speak with the Players Club people, so we did.
This got us nowhere and I was not having a warm fussy feeling about this visit.
After getting settled in our room, we went into the casino to play some slots.

While enjoying an evening of live music at The Point Casino, we ventured into the Boom Boom Room as Storm Riders, a Doors cover band, were performing Friday night after the CCR cover band concert.
Much to my surprise, the TVs were all on and stayed on as the band took the stage.
I found Bill, who is supposedly the manager, and politely asked if they could be turned off while the band played.
He immediately was in adversarial and aggressive mode.
Perhaps he's more accustomed to a younger rowdier group.
He wouldn't turn off the bloody TVs.
It would be "too dark" and "people want to watch sports".
Give me a break.
It's supposed to be dark and there's plenty of lighting in there, otherwise they wouldn't pass code.

Once in 2017 for my son's wedding.
The second time this weekend.

The staff is great.
The showers are great with two shower heads!

We were very excited to stay here again, as we have a few other times.
We also come to the casino to play weekly.
However, the night was just awful.
The check-in went smoothly as usual, with the staff being really kind, and quickly got us into our room 229.
We then got all dressed up and went down to the casino to blow through some cash as usual while we waited for the doors to open for the ball.
My wife wanted to go back up to the room to rest a bit, as there was still some time before the party started.
As she went in to the room to have a minute by herself and fix her hair and make-up, she began to plug in her phone charger.
There was an instant shock to her hand which she just had massive reconstructive nerve surgery on and sparks shot out of the receptacle.
At this time, all the power went out in the room.
She then proceeded to call the front desk to inform them of the situation.
A few minutes later, a member of maintenance arrived at the room.
He looked around at all the outlets, noticing that only the bathroom was functioning.
He then left as my wife sat there in the dark for some time.
The technician arrived again with a manager type.
They did the same thing as before.
They asked her to move to another room, and another worker would be up with new keys shortly.
She sat in the dark room again waiting for the keys for the alternate room.
Finally, after it was all sorted out, we waited in line for the doors to open with tickets in hand.
Nobody told us that we needed to trade in the tickets in for wrist bands prior to standing in line.
So, once at the front of the line, we were informed that we had to go to the little desk there, and get the wrist bands, then back to the end of the line.
We were in the first 20-ish position and happy to get to the buffet first.
BUT, that was all screwed up too.
There was a couple behind us that had the same thing happen, but that guy made a huge scene.
To top it off.
The band was like any bar band that you can see in the Boom Room, or any bar for free.
The food was just an abbreviated version of casino kingston wa regular buffet.
It would have saved us a ton a money to just get a regular room, and purchase dinner from one of the restaurants in the casino.
We were the youngest couple in there by 20 years.
I know that the demographics of who attends is really just a crap shoot, but you shouldn't market it as a young, lively event.

Long story short, my daughter wanted to go to the Casino for her 18th birthday and wanted to come here because of the fabulous seafood buffet.
Upon initially making reservations we were told that one could be casino kingston wa and gamble here.
We later were informed that is not the case you have to be 21.
Knowing you can be 18 at the other Casino in town, we tried changing locations but it was to late.
The staff at The Point made it possible by offering to shuttle our party to the other Casino and then pick us back up.

Nice sandy floor for concerts.

There was only fruit and blue cheese crumbles, no bread or crackers.

Asked for late checkout, which was 12:00, on a Sunday.
They started calling my phone at 11:00 to be out and changed the key out!

We planned on getting drinks and appetizers at the Center Bar before the Queen Nation concert to celebrate our 14th anniversary.
When we got there, we found out their menu recently changed.
They no longer have our favorite cheese curds or anything appealing at all all sounds very greasy.
We didn't have time to go in a restaurant and sit down, so we decided to try the pizza window.
The cashier there was really snotty and rude.
After looking at the menu hanging on the wall, I ordered a slice of cheese pizza and my husband ordered pepperoni.
The cashier replied, with an annoyed tone in her voice, "We don't usually have cheese pizza, you can't order that.
I asked for breadsticks instead.
She replied that they didn't have anything like that.
I pointed to the menu and said, "Then why is it listed here?
I said, "Nevermind, just cancel the breadsticks, my husband's slice of pizza is going to be cold by the time we get my food, I don't want to make him stand here holding his pizza.
How is that our problem?
I told her that we were only paying for the slice of pepperoni pizza and she just stared at us silently for about 10 seconds looking really confused.
We paid cash for our one slice of pizza and left.
When my husband started eating, we realized that I should have just ordered a slice of pepperoni because his only had one pepperoni on it!
It was basically a room temperature slice of cheese pizza with one lonely pepperoni on top.

The hotel was lovely, room was very clean with modern finishes and touches.
Everyone I encountered was friendly.
Sadly we didn't get to venture out to the patio area to listen to the live band, but did see another live band in the Boom Room.
The casino was a bit smoky, and would benefit from those floor vents that filter the air.
I did get lucky on their machines and didn't lose money and went home with some winnings.
Nothing big or crazy but enough to make me happy.
The whole place isn't as big as other area casinos, but that's what made it fun as well.
The girls and I could venture out and try our luck and be able to find each other if needed.
The bar was also good, nice strong drinks except for my girlfriends reporting that one of the bartenders had to look up on how make a Hurricane.
A minor issue but the next bartender knew what she was doing and made it perfectly for them.
Also there was an attendant on the floor that came by to check on us to see if we needed anything, we wanted to order cocktails he said he would have someone come over shortly, shortly became 30 minutes without someone coming over, so we walked over to the bar to order.

We were paying guests of the hotel and spent money and time in their casino, we felt the treatment could've been better.
Not asking for much, just asking for assistance on the issue.
Not sure but I think one of the security people sent a radio call to the police.
The officer was the most helpful and pleasant person out of the 3 people we encountered for the car damage.
After taking our information and saying they would review security footage we went on our way.
Spent a few more hours at the casino, had lunch then went back on the ferry.
Other notes: they do have a shuttle but you have to arrange for a ride 24 hours in advance, there is Uber on the Kingston side if you didn't drive overyou can get your ferry ride reimbursed with proof of receiptelevators to the rooms are accessible by key card which is nice.
Overall decent place minus a few hiccups.

We just returned home from our last visit to the Point Casino and Hotel.
We were going to be in their area for thanksgiving, so we decided to spend a night at the casino.
We arrived at the casino about 4 pm on the 22nd of N0v 2018.
They told us to go and speak with the Players Club people, so we did.
This got us nowhere and I was not having a warm fussy feeling about this visit.
After getting settled in our room, we went into the casino to play some slots.
We started off in the white ticket area.
The next morning we got up and went to the buffet for breakfast.
We then decided to stop in the red ticket section to play some slots.

While enjoying an evening of live music at The Point Casino, we ventured into the Boom Boom Room as Storm Riders, a Doors cover band, were performing Friday night after the CCR cover band concert.
Much to my surprise, the TVs were all on and stayed on as the band took the stage.
I found Bill, who is supposedly the manager, and politely asked if they could be turned off while the band played.
He immediately was in adversarial and aggressive mode.
Perhaps he's more accustomed to a younger rowdier group.
He wouldn't turn off the bloody TVs.
It would be "too dark" and "people want to watch sports".
Give me a break.
It's supposed to be dark and there's plenty of lighting in there, otherwise they wouldn't pass code.
I suppose Judge Judy is a sport of a sort.
But while the band is playing?!
Then he wants to argue with a customer about it.
I turned and walked away not wanting to engage and spoil an otherwise enjoyable evening.
Now, don't get me wrong, the rest of the staff I encountered were kind and professional.
Many I've known for sometime outside of the casino.
He, however, has a total lack of customer service skills.
Apparently, his coworkers, that I know, say the same thing.
In my and my guests opinion, we find having the TVs on during a live performance disrespectful to the band and customers alike and Bill's attitude and response downright appalling!

Hotel Management, We stayed at the hotel last night for the 2018-2019 New Year's party, which included a hotel stay, dinner, brunch and a party in the special occasion venue tent thing.

We also come to the casino to play weekly.
However, the night was just awful.
The check-in went smoothly as usual, with the staff being really kind, and quickly got us into our room 229.
We then got all dressed up and went down to the casino to blow through some cash as usual while we waited for the doors to open for the ball.
My wife wanted to go back up to the room to rest a bit, as there was still some time before the party started.
As she went in to the room to have a minute by herself and fix her hair and make-up, she began to plug in her phone charger.
There was an instant shock to her hand which she just had massive reconstructive nerve surgery on and sparks shot out of the receptacle.
At this time, all the power went out in the room.
She then proceeded to call the front desk to inform them of the situation.
A few minutes later, a member of maintenance arrived at the room.
He looked around at all the outlets, noticing that only the bathroom was functioning.
He then left as my wife sat there in the dark for some time.
The technician arrived again with a manager type.
They did the same thing as before.
They asked her to move to another room, and another worker would be up with new keys shortly.
She sat in the dark room again waiting for the keys for the alternate room.
Finally, after it was all sorted out, we waited in line for the doors to open with tickets in hand.
Nobody told us that we needed to trade in the tickets in for wrist bands prior to standing in line.
So, once at the front of the line, we were informed that we had to go to the little desk there, and get the wrist bands, then back to the end of the line.
We were in the first 20-ish position and happy to get to the buffet first.
BUT, that was all screwed up too.
There was a couple behind us that had the same thing happen, but that guy made a huge scene.
To top it off.
The band was like any bar band that you can see in the Boom Room, or any bar for free.
The food was just an abbreviated version of the regular buffet.
It would have saved us a ton a money to just get a regular room, and purchase dinner from one of the restaurants in the casino.
We were the youngest couple in there by 20 years.
I know that the demographics of who attends is really just a crap shoot, but you shouldn't market it as a young, lively event.
We spend a lot of money there monthly, and is our place to go when we can get a sitter.
This was just a huge disappointment for my birthday, yes, my birthday is on 12-31-1975, and New Year's Eve celebration.

The cashier there was really snotty and rude.

I asked for breadsticks instead.
She replied that they didn't have anything like that.
I pointed to the menu and said, "Then why is it listed here?

I enjoy playing when I can.
I have won quite a few jackpots over the years at this little Casino.
I like that it's small, so you don't feel overwhelmed or get lost in the building.
I like the creative and fun activities that they do for drawings and things of that nature.
They have incentives for every club card holder that are appealing including free play, free meals and other types of things.
It's also easy to get to know some of the players, even if you don't intend to.
I think it's because it's a small and cozy environment and people just feel comfortable striking up conversations at this casino.
Their slots are not as tight as other places.
The food in the restaurants is okay, although the buffet can feel kind of high school cafeteria like.
However, the bistro is great.
And the new hotel is pretty top tier.
Lots of amenities and beautifully designed.
There's something here for everyone who just needs or wants a getaway or who wants to try their luck.

At first the food in the bistro and buffet was very good.
The slot machines let you play, before you made your donation.
Then the food quality started to slip and the slot machines started to get tighter.
We just returned home from our last visit to the Point Casino and Hotel.
We were going to be in their area for thanksgiving, so we decided to spend link night at the casino.
We arrived at the casino about 4 pm on the 22nd of N0v 2018.
They told us to go and speak with the Players Club people, so we did.
This got us nowhere and I was not having a warm fussy feeling about this visit.
After getting settled in our room, we went into the casino to play some slots.
We started off in the white ticket area.
The next morning we got up and went to the buffet for breakfast.
We then decided to stop in the red ticket section to play some slots.
Now please hold on to something or just sit down, because I received one of my all time greatest bonuses, are you ready for this?????
There were no other bonus features in this red ticket section.
I thought that I was being ripped off in the white ticket section, but the red ticket section even went lower than that.
We have played at read more Lucky Eagle and Little Creek Casinos coming away thinking that their slot machines are very tight.
Our experience at the Point Casino has to be the very worst in our casino visits and will be our last at this casino.

However, I feel our community needs to be represented by those with a a modicum of civility.
While enjoying an evening of live music at The Point Casino, we ventured into the Boom Boom Room as Storm Riders, a Doors cover band, were performing Friday night after the CCR cover band concert.
Much to my surprise, the TVs were all on and stayed on as the band took the stage.
I found Bill, who is supposedly the manager, and politely asked if they could be turned off while the band played.
He immediately was in adversarial and aggressive mode.
Perhaps he's more accustomed to a younger rowdier group.
He wouldn't turn off the bloody TVs.
It would be "too dark" and "people want to watch sports".
Give me a break.
It's supposed to be dark and there's plenty of lighting in there, otherwise they wouldn't pass code.
I suppose Judge Judy is a sport of a sort.
But while the band is playing?!
Then he wants to argue with a customer about it.
I turned and walked away not wanting to engage and spoil an otherwise enjoyable evening.
Now, don't get me wrong, the rest of the staff I encountered were kind and professional.
